Meet Ashy Boodhun, Le Club’s Lifestyle Coordinator
Greetings from Le Club!
My name is Ashy. I am 25 years old and I am passionate about music, animals and adventure. I reflect a diverse personality that includes ambition and qualities of generosity and determination. I encourage people to fight for what they want and what they believe in. I have been working with Le Club as a Lifestyle Coordinator for a few months now and it has been a wonderful journey.
What is your favourite part about interacting with members?
The aspect of my job I enjoy the most is meeting and interacting with members. Le Club’s vision is to give members a sense of belonging and to inspire them to live life to the fullest. Meeting and interacting with members is also about making connections, sharing ideas and solving problems. Interacting with others allows me to become more involved and engaged in what I do.
Le Club’s office is based at the Clubhouse. When the view from your office is as beautiful as the one from the Clubhouse, do you find it more distracting than enjoyable?
I once read a quote that said “The work environment is very important in determining how enjoyable work is”. I could not agree more. The view from my office is as pleasant as it looks. Hearing the birds chirping in the morning is truly wonderful and no matter how busy my day can be, I always make sure to stop and take in the peaceful surroundings. There’s nothing better than a quick coffee break with a breathtaking view of the pool.
What is your favourite part about your job?
The best thing about my job is that it never gets boring. There is always something new to learn and I meet new and interesting people. I love being part of our members’ daily lives and helping them celebrate life to the fullest.
What is the most valuable skill required to perform your responsibilities as a Lifestyle Coordinator?
Paying close attention to detail to ensure that services meet the needs and requirements of our members. My most valuable skill is the ability to multi-task effectively and juggle multiple responsibilities at once. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead, guide and delegate tasks are also very valuable.
You often have to plan activities and day outs for Le Club’s members, ensuring they have the best time whilst meeting their requirements. When it comes to you, how do like to spend your spare time?
I usually like to spend my free time alone. I usually listen to music and take care of my pets. I also like to go on adventures, such as hiking or going to the beach. Cooking is also one of my hobbies. On days when I have more free time, I like to hang out with my friends. On my days off, I prioritise and cherish the time I spend with my family.
